Relapse and Refill... What's the difference?

Posted : 13 years, 9 months ago on 9 July 2010 05:22 (A review of Relapse: Refill)

When everyone was talking about this album being released, I was excited and got it as soon as it was released but it's pretty much the same as Relapse with some extra songs.

I bought both Relapse and Relapse Refill because i'm a really big fan of Eminem (he's my favorite music artist) and I buy every album and single he releases but for those of you who aren't really big fans of Eminem then I would suggest that you just buy Relapse Refill because the whole Relapse album is released on Relapse Refill as well as on its own.

8 Mile review

Posted : 13 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2010 11:20 (A review of 8 Mile)

I'm a huge fan of Eminem and this movie was awesome. I first watched this movie on VHS and bought a copy on DVD when it was released. I remember seeing the posters advertising 8 Mile in the shops but I was too young to go and watch it at the cinema, Which is a shame because I would of loved to see this movie at the cinema.

It definatly shows how hard it is being a white rapper in Detroit trying to get a deal.

It is not based on his life (Eminem revealed in an interview) however it is very similar.

I think the movie shows Marshall's sensitive, kinder side of his Personality with how he cares for his sister in this movie, at first when I watched this movie, I thought it was his daughter and she even calls him daddy in it, but fans have told me that she plays his little sister and Eminem even says "Little baby sister she don't understand" in the song 8 Mile from the 8 Mile soundtrack.

Rest in Peace Brittany Murphy (Alex)

Rest in Peace Big Proof

Valentine review

Posted : 13 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2010 11:04 (A review of Valentine)

I am one of these people who can watch the same movie over and over again even in the same day and I did with this movie.

I watched this movie with and without commentary.

I really wish that this movie was more well known though because I personally don't think that it is. I collect horror movie figures and all that and I really wish that they made a figure of the cherub killer because he would be a good one to have in my collection.

The cast was good in this movie, I liked the storyline especially since I was bullied at school and I know how bad it can effect you, the movie overall was brilliant. This is one of my favorite horror movies.

The twist at the end of this movie was awesome.

If your a fan of movies with a twist then you should definitely watch this.

Halloween: Resurrection review

Posted : 13 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2010 10:53 (A review of Halloween: Resurrection)

A good Halloween movie, I loved how they carried this movie on from Halloween H20 by explaining at the begining of this movie how Laurie decapitated the wrong guy and then it shows footage that you didn't see in Halloween H20 like Michael Myers standing in the road when Laurie was driving who she thought was Michael Myers in the body bag in the ambulance, brilliant.

I'm disapointed that they killed off Laurie as i'm sure every Halloween fan is although they had to kill her off eventually because she can't survive him for ever. We will miss Laurie(Jamie Lee Curtis), she was a legend.

At the end of this movie Michael Myers made the first ever noise i've heard him make in Halloween history.

It's just too bad the Halloween movies stopped after that because I think that there would of been a follow up to Michael Myers after he made that noise on the table. It's just too bad Rob Zombie carried on the Halloween films because Rob Zombie has ruined the Halloween movies.

It's just to bad Moustapha Akkad died because I have a feeling that if he didn't die, Rob Zombie wouldn't of continued the movies but I don't know for sure.

Rest in Peace Moustapha Akkad

Rest in Peace Laurie Strode

A Nightmare on Elm Street review

Posted : 13 years, 9 months ago on 6 July 2010 07:06 (A review of A Nightmare on Elm Street)

I went to see this movie with a friend at the cinema when it was released, I liked this movie and so did she, it was definitely better than the Rob Zombie remakes of the Halloween movies.

I especially liked how the writers went into more detail about Freddy's time spent at the preschool and I liked how the characters were linked to what happened there, finding out that they were abused by Freddy.

The one thing I didn't like was Freddy's make-up because I think it looked better in the original.

Robert Englund is a legend and I think that it is hard getting fans to accept a new face to play Freddy but I think that Jackie Earle Haley did a good job as Freddy.

That's pretty much it, I'm rating this movie 4 stars.

Rob Zombie's Halloween

Posted : 13 years, 9 months ago on 5 July 2010 09:07 (A review of Halloween)

I would vote this movie zero stars but that's stupid because then nobody on here would be able to see how much I hate this movie.

Let me start by saying that I am one of the biggest Halloween and Michael Myers fans you will ever meet, I own all the Halloween movies and the Halloween Anniversary DVDs and despite my rage against Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes, I have bought this movie and the uncut version of this movie because I am a true Halloween fan, however this remake is a joke!

Rob Zombie has totally ruined the Halloween movies, first he changed the mask from classic plain white to a burned and torn mask and yeah if he used that mask because Michael Myers was electrocuted in Halloween Resurrection then fair enough, I get that, but this is not a follow up movie to Halloween Resurrection, this is a remake of the original Halloween.
Secondly he made Michael Myers ridiculously tall, I mean come on, at that height he doesn't have to kill him victims with a knife, he might as well just stand on them.
Thirdly there is way too much sex in the movie, i'm not against sex in horror movies and I know it's kinda tradition to have sex in horror movies and then get killed but Rob Zombie's movie is full of it, the original Halloween movies have been a success without the need to use sex to sell the movie. I know it's the 2000s now and movies have changed alot but there's just no need for that much sex and the rape scene in the uncut version was just unnecessary.
Finally and let me say this I could add more points about why I hate this movie but i'm gonna stop at the forth point because this review is already pretty long. They showed Michael's face, Michael Myers is suppost to always keep his mask on, in all the years that Halloween has been running, they have only showed his face in split second scenes, Rob Zombie ruined that and they couldn't of made his face look more ugly, his hair is way to long etc.

However I did like one thing about Rob Zombie's remake and that is that Rob Zombie went into more detail about Michaels childhood and family which probably gave fans more of an idea about why Michael Myers is evil, maybe, I know it did for me so that's the only good thing about this movie.

I'm still rating it half a star, I cannot take this movie serriously, I look at my Halloween collection and I am embarresed to have Rob Zombie's Halloween in with the classics.
